The goal of the swim marathon is to at all times have one member of your team swimming in the pool. This means that you with your team can decide how you want to divide this. You could for example each swim 15 or 30 minutes consecutively. Alternatively, you can opt for a relay format, where two or more team members are in the pool simultaneously, passing the baton after every 2 or 4 laps swum. It is all up to your team, as long as someone is swimming at all times.
During the awards ceremony at the end of the evening, the winning team will be announced. The amount of meters swam by each team will be counted throughout the night. Will anyone be able to beat the Avalon team this year?
In addition to swimming, there is more than enough to do in the pool during the event. With a DJ, games and a hot tub, you will not be bored when you’re not swimming. More information about this will be communicated closer to the event.
