We are TSZWV Avalon, the student swimming and water polo association of Tilburg. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, you can swim and play water polo at any level.

This weekend a group of Avalonians travelled all t

This weekend a group of Avalonians travelled all the way to the far north to compete in the NSZK II organized by @degolfbreker .🏊🏻‍♀️ At the preparty we already had a lot of fun. On Saturday we went to the pool in Heerenveen. Where we swam fast, ending the competition with a splashing 4x50 medley relay (slide 2, lane 5).
We maintained our 8th place in the rankings!🏆
Afterwards we celebrated in Santa theme.🎅🏻

On the 17th of November a group of Avalonians went

On the 17th of November a group of Avalonians went to the first NSWK of the season in Nijmegen. We had a lot of fun and played some nice matches.🤽🏼 The beginners joined forces with @aquamanialeiden and could feel their skills improve with every game.
Our advanced team played amazing and ended up in a shootout (see second slide) for 3rd place, which we won!🥉Overall we had a great time, thanks to @nszwvhydrofiel for organising and to our Avalonians for joining.❤️🖤

On the 8th of November we celebrated the constitut

On the 8th of November we celebrated the constitution of the 14th board with their CoBo.🎉 Almost 30 boards came to congratulate Board Avalove and we had a very lovely evening!❤️🖤

Last Wednesday our Water Polo Committee organised

Last Wednesday our Water Polo Committee organised the second edition of Water Polo with Friends.🤽🏼🤽🏾‍♂ This is where all Avalonians are invited to bring their friends and show them the sport. We played a little tournament and had a lot of fun!

During the NSZK last weekend, we were awarded our prizes for the season 2023-2024. We are very proud to announce that we got 8th place in the swimranking.🎉 But maybe more important, we won the integration bingo!🏆

On the 26th of October Avalon organized the first

On the 26th of October Avalon organized the first NSZK of the season.🏊‍♀️ The competition was a great succes. We swam exceptionally fast with lots of clubrecords broken and an overall 8th place🏆 for now we're very happy!
We want to thank all volunteers, officials and the committee members who helped us make this weekend possible. ❤️🖤

Last week, our lovely activity committee organized the second edition of the Avalon Pub Golf.🏌🏼 Our members competed against eachother while exploring some of the drinking holes of Tilburg.⛳ Even though we all forgot who actually won, plenty of hole-in-ones were made!

Hey peeps! My name is Twan Schrover and this year Ill be the waterpolo commissioner of TSZWV Avalon. I'm 25 years old and working parttime while following a few courses. Im originally from Rosmalen and moved to Tilburg 3 years ago. This is going to be my 4th year at Avalon and I'm looking forward to making the most of it!❤️🖤

TSZWV Avalon is a Student Sport Association for students from (and around) Tilburg. We offer swimming- and water polo trainings, as well as fun activities and opportunities to develop all sorts of skills in our committees.
